A grand record was set tonight. Twenty-eight people stood on top of Calderwood Rock in front of the Student Union. I've never* been so proud to participate in something.
So, I found this bug on the way back to my dorm tonight. It was big, and I want to find out what it is. Ergo, I caught it. It just seemed like the right thing to do. The picture consists of the bug and a penny. I like bugs that are smaller than pennies, especially when we don't have screens on our windows...
-- Update --
My dad spent some time researching such things, and as it turns out, this particular creature (now deceased) was a Giant Water Bug (Lethocerus americanus).
I, the non-pregnant, hopefully not hanging, but dimpled, Chad, am currently attending Grove City College and majoring in Physics and Computer Science. Despite my social tendencies, I remain a quintessential nerd of the highest order. As my physics teacher remarked last year I am the most lazy and cynical individual that he knows.
